YEAR FOUR PROTEST MARCH
YEAR FOUR PROTEST MARCH
We are so keen for our children to form their own opinions about anything they feel is unjust in the world. To be able to express these, in a peaceful and informed manner, is an essential life skill. Year Four has been making their own protest placards, with slogans about things they would like to happen, covering all manner of topics from women's rights, education for all, an end to torture and the right for everyone to feel safe and secure and so many more ... Once they had constructed their magnificent placards, it was essential that they put them to good use. So, on a cold and rainy day, they braved the weather to go on a protest march to Marble Hill Park and back, chanting as they went. They got lots of support from passers by and motorists.

We love it when our children come up to the front and talk the class through a number problem on the board. Well done Hendrix and Lizzie - and you got it right! Marvellous!
