Kingston First, the town centre’s Business Improvement District have organised a free Christmas Trail around businesses in Kingston for local families. There are 8 letters to discover on posters in shop windows, with a festive word to unscramble at the end. Each child can then claim a prize at the last stop! You can find out more here.
There’s plenty of other exciting festive activities to enjoy on your trip into town, from stunning light installations and a Candy Cane Forest, to curling, live music and festive food and drinks at the Christmas Market. With over 250 retailers, a huge selection of family-friendly restaurants and fantastic leisure options, don’t miss a day out in Kingston this Christmas.
PowerStation Youth Centre a Christmas Programme for 0 - 19 years old. All young people are welcome. Please check the age range of each session. Food and drink will be provided every session.
The programme is part funded by FUEL so on some trips etc they are limited for young people on free school meals and booking for trips is not confirmed unless/untill I offer a trip form.

These are primarily aimed at supporting Hong Kong born children to preserve their Cantonese and to maintain a link with their heritage but three of them are also open to non-Cantonese speakers to encourage integration. Please see the attached flyers for details.

For Richmond schools please recruit new parents of all heritages to EAL friendship groups for both ESOL and social support. Contact their office manager for details. Multicultural Richmond also run lots of ESOL and community events including ESOL specifically for Ukrainians.
