BIBLE STUDY IN YEAR SIX

In Year Six this term our children are completing a Christianity unit. Baptism is the topic under discussion and, in order to fully understand this modern practice, our children are going right back to John the Baptist to discover its origins. Reading and comparing accounts from various gospels, gives them the full picture. Our children learn in Year Three how to access Bible references and whenever possible we go back to the original text to ensure they are familiar with this most important of Christian texts.

Planning our prototypes in Year Five. In Design and Technology our Year Five children are going to make fabric containers. However, before they start on the final, fabric version, our designers are making paper prototypes. This invaluable planning will ensure that any issues are ironed out early on.
