We entered the local dodgeball tournament with eagerness. But when we got there we saw two teams who made last year nationals, so we knew it was going to be a tough day. However, we won our first four games 8-2, 10-0, 6-4, 8-2, heading into the Barnes fixture who were also unbeaten at this stage. Despite being 5-3 down, with one game to go, we won that with an inspirational performance from Isla who was the last player left to be eliminated. She found that extra something to eliminate four of the Barnes players to win and ensure a tie. At this point we were in the lead by a five goal difference point. We then played last year's national finalist Kilburn 6-4 in an epic encounter. Initially, we were 4-2 behind but our perseverance got us over the line. Our final match was against Cheam. We won 10-0 in what was a dominating performance against another team that made the national finals last year. Now, it is on to the county finals. Well done Alana, Sassy, Seb, Oli, Eli, Alex, Raff and 'player of the day,' voted by her peers, Isla 🤾
Year Five has been looking at how the Christian Nativity is depicted in art. Then, they got a chance to create their own pictorial version. Here we see the artists at work.
