Mrs Bachour will be going to hospital for a planned surgery this weekend. During her absence, Mrs Morrison will be Acting Headteacher, with Mrs Cuddy Gibbs and Mrs Smart supporting. Mrs Bachour is looking forward to returning to school after the February half term.
Each year, we hold a dedicated Wellbeing Week - a time where we purposefully put mental and physical health at the heart of school life. While wellbeing is always a priority for us, this week allows us to truly focus on the practices that help our community thrive.
In previous years, Wellbeing Week has been a real highlight, featuring everything from inspiring guest speakers in assembly to visits from therapy dogs and even a very popular rabbit! Our goal is to expose the children to new experiences or practices that spark joy and enhance their overall wellbeing.
Do you have a particular skill, a unique interest, or a wellbeing practice that you could share? Or perhaps you have an inspiring story that could encourage our children or staff?
We are looking for members of our school community who might be able to contribute something special to our week. If you have a skill or an experience you would like to share, we would love to hear from you.
Please contact Miss Collins via the Year 2 inbox if you would like to get involved.

Do you need to update your child's permission to walk home? Or request permission for your child to bring a phone to school? You can do these things as well as give your child permission to have medicine and update the list of other adults who can collect your child from school by selecting 'quick links' from the menu on the school website home page. From there you can find these forms as well as other frequently accessed information like term dates and the school lunch menu.
