🎄 Christmas Fair - There will be no waste from this event…👍🏼 Any leftovers are sent out into our community to much appreciated new homes (eg last year items were gifted to a local old people’s home & boxes were prepared for vulnerable families for Christmas Day) so thanks again for being a part of this special event ❤️

Info for parents new to the school & hopefully a helpful reminder ☺️ for existing parents (when there’s so much going on at this time of year!) :
What does the St Stephen's CHRISTMAS MARKET involve?
- Each year FOSS run a Christmas Market providing the children with a chance to purchase some lovely, secret, ideally recycled/preloved or low cost gifts for their loved ones. This very special event has been running for some years at and is a true highlight of the children’s calendar!
- All proceeds of the market go towards our much loved online learning platforms, including Mathletics and Accelerated Reader.
- This year’s Christmas Market will be held on Tuesday 13th December in the Turks Head’s Winchester Hall. All classes have a time slot during the school day and their teachers take them to the market, but we will be asking for some parent volunteers to help run the market on the day.
- In order for the event to be successful, we ask parents to make a donation of six gifts per child. Please think about the gifts you send in – after all, they could be coming back to you!
- Your Class Rep will have a box ready in your classroom from Monday 5th December for your child to put gifts into and all gifts are required by Friday 9th December at the latest.
ON THE DAY
- On the day of the Christmas Market children should bring in £3 (suggested donation) which will be given to their teacher and exchanged for 4 tokens (1 token = 1 gift).
- Children are also asked to bring in a shopping bag to take their gifts home in.
- Classes are allocated a time slot to visit the market during school hours and from 3.15pm remaining gifts are available for the children, family and friends to purchase at 50p per gift.
- Please look out for information from your class rep, coming very soon about signing up to help volunteer at the market and be a part of this special day of festive fun for the children!
