A trip to Richmond Museum proved the perfect location to commence Thunberg's studies on Bronze Age Britain. After viewing a mock up Bronze Age burial site, the young sleuths embarked upon a historical murder mystery to discover the cause of death. The feeback from the Museum was that our children were very inquisitive and asked some fabulously forensic questions. Detectives of the future, methinks?
Back in the classroom, the young mathematicians explored mass, using scales to weigh a variety of objects in grams and kilograms.
