We said goodbye to the old FOSS team in July. Their legacy will live on and we cannot thank them enough for all their amazing fundraising endeavours which has made such a monumental difference to our children.
It is now time to introduce the new faces who will be steering the FOSS ship, going forward.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SPARE TIME TO SUPPORT FOSS? If you have any spare time this year, please do consider stepping forward and supporting the new FOSS team with your helping hands. Come along to the AGM to find out more on Francesa and Kate's plans and how to get involved.

As we gear up for another fabulous year of FOSS fundraising, a BIG shout out to the fabulous women who ran our cake Sale in 2023-4, raising almost £5.5k! Nora, Twyla, Laura, Miriam & Terri - we love you! Between them, they manage all weekly cake sale logistics plus get involved in a whole host of other ways all year around:)
FOSS's weekly cake sale really is a school-wide effort - thanks to ALL our parents and children for your continued cake donations and purchases. This regular cakey source of FOSS income is oh so important to ensure FOSS can continue to cover the costs of many curriculum resources that enrich our children's education.
Cake sales start again on Friday 20th September with Mandela class!!
As a reminder - in order to keep our whole school community safe we always ask that homemade or shop bought cakes or savoury products do not contain nuts, coconut, sesame, red & bell peppers (plus their derivatives - paprika, cayenne, chilli). Many shop bought cakes will say 'may contain nuts' and, given people bake in their homes, we can never guarantee the sale is completely 'nut free,' as traces may exist. Any cake bought at the sale is under parental supervision, not school supervision. Parents who give their children money to visit the sale are accepting parental responsibility (especially for Yr5 and Yr6 children whose parents may not be present at pick up). Children going to Stars on a Friday afternoon do not visit the cake sale, instead a cake is provided directly by Stars to children who would like to visit. Thank you in advance to everyone over this school year that will bake, buy and help make our cake sales succesful and safe.
Many thanks
The Cake Sale Team
