Help Our Lines!
As you know, our children work hard to come into school smartly, calmly and promptly, so that they can get started with their fabulous, fun learning straight away.
Please can you be mindful of our lines as children walk into school and try not to cut across as you are leaving the playground. This would help enormously.
If you have a buggy, please give school children the priority and push buggies around the back of the class lines and behind the climbing frames, where there is more space.
Spring Term Parent Consultations
Our in-person parent consultations will take place on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th March 2025.
Y6 Kamkwamba class will have the consultations online, detailed information will follow in the Friday letters home after half term
⚽🏀 Half Term Sports Camp 🏀⚽
Mr Cain and Mr Ryan are looking forward to supporting your children to stay active, learn new skills and have lots of fun with their friends during the half term.
Please ensure your children have a good breakfast each day and bring along a packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
Any food brought into school should be in line with our 'food in school' policy (click to read).
It may be helpful to pack a change of clothes for younger children.
Please also ensure that children are dressed warmly, as weather permitting, there will be plenty of outdoor playing.
If you need to contact Mr Cain or Mr Ryan in an emergency, you can reach them on 07874978014
This is a St Stephen's newsletter exclusive and the first time a rabbit has graced the front pages of our esteemed chronicle. Wellbeing week (see report from Miss Collins on page two) was the perfect time to welcome wonderful Margot, Mrs Cox's therapy dog, and Miss Rose's giant rabbit, Piellie. Our children loved meeting the calming and friendly animals and those who wanted to get up close for a cuddle. Turn to page two for more pictures.
A love of books and reading is the absolute conrnerstone of all we do at St Stephen's. At every step of the way we encourage our children to read as much as they can. We need all the help we can get to achieve this and our wonderful library volunteers are at the frontline in helping foster a love of reading. Week in, week out, they work in our library to keep it in tip top condition. They help our children select the right books for their interests and take time to share a book with them. Each class gets a library slot every week. Scroll down to read our first library newsletter from our fantastic library volunteers.
