Our youngest learners have been honing their fine motor skills, continuing their writing practice and stretching in their PE lessons in the hall. Back in the classroom their topic this term is Transport and they have been completing some sorting activities with a range of brightly coloured cars in their maths lessons.
Our Year Three children are studying the Stone Age this term, so it seemed like the perfect time to try to recreate some cave paintings with Miss Rose. After studying famous examples of the art form from Lascaux and Somalia, the children took up their watercolours and charcoal to create their own versions. As you can see from our pictures, they mimic the real examples perfectly.
