In upper KS2 all their music knowledge is culminated at this point in their musical journeys. Year 5 participate yearly in Festival of Voices held at Hackney Empire and year 6 build on their knowledge of instrumentation with band skills and their production at the end of the year. Upper KS2 looks at embedding their musical knowledge to prepare them for the musical curriculum in secondary school.
