Power maths lesson structure
From Reception to Year 6, maths planning at St Helen's is assisted by the DfE approved Power Maths scheme.
The scheme provides lesson structure, strong representations and intelligent practice questions that use variation theory to deepen children's understanding of the concept being taught.
Teacher's use these tools to design lessons of appropriate challenge.
