MASTERPIECE WRITING

Students will write a variety of 5 paragraph essays in 4th grade.

NARRATIVE: Narrative essay develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective techniques, descriptive details, and clear even sequences.
EXPOSITORY: Expository texts are written to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
PERSUASIVE: Persuasive/opinion pieces on topics or texts support a point of view with detailed reasoning.
BOOK REPORTS: There will be one book report per quarter. See all the book report tab for all the book report information.

Our Saint Paper

Expository texts are written to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly. This will be a 5 paragraph paper exploring the life of a saint.

Our 2nd Essay:

Personal Narrative

Narrative essays develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective techniques, descriptive details, and clear even sequences. Students are writing a 5 paragraph paper about a special memory.
