Our Program
We are a graphic design and production learning environment—within a high school—committed to the education of our students and client needs. Our 3+ year program allows us to teach students a robust and diverse skillset such as print, digital and web design, photography, videography, animation, screen print, heat press and embroidery to name a few. Your work allows us a variety of real world experiences that are invaluable to our curriculum and the development of work habits that will make our students valuable employees and entrepreneurs. Employment Through Experience
Our shop structure gives our students valuable real-life expereience though job requests from our local community. From fire departments, town halls, local school, small businesses and more, we provide our students with challenges and learning experience that mirror the real world. Through this traininng, we develop a highly technical, skilled employees for the 21st century.
Students in our shop have the opportunity junior and senior year to work in our co-op program. This statewide program allows are qualifying, skilled students to go out into the field and work at a variety of employers all over the South Shore including: The Frame Center, Hemlock Printing, Webster Print, South Shore Techncial Institute, JLC Tech, College Hype,
NEW School Store
Fall 2023 we launched our student lead school store!! Our products consist of hoodies, t-shirts, hats, beanies and much more designed and created by our students. Students in-take jobs (it's a job!), manage workflow (it's a job!), provide customer service (it's a job!), design/print (it's many jobs!) and do fulfillment (that's a job too). Keep an eye out on instagram for limited edition items, pop up sales and our new online store currently under construction.
Exploratory Opportunities & Jobs
Our 9th grade students explore our shop for a quick 2.5 days. During that time they have the chance to touch, check out, do and/or hear about pathways for employment in our program. Remember every carpenter, plumber, caterer, nurse and electrician carry tools with logos created by a design, read instruction manuals created by a design or visit websites produced by a designer!
