Primarily welding as part of a team that maintains our fleet of heavy excavation equipment and trucks. Welding is the primary task, but opportunities to learn about other aspects of equipment repair and maintenance will arise.

Job Title: Sheet Metal Operator
Job Description:
Atrenne is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Operator to join our Fabrication team. This position reports to Atrenne’s Sheet Metal Supervisor
Summary: Fabricates component parts where setups are non-routine and tolerances are difficult to acquire
and maintain.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
Load/Unload tooling and operate one or more of the following equipment: Press Brake, Shear, PEM
insertion, Time Saver.
Experience in the set-up and operation of the press brake is a plus.
Use various gauges and measurement tools to set up machine and measure work.
Produce parts according to blueprint specifications.
Record information and time as required.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and general upkeep of machines.
Ensure efficient workflow with awareness of product schedules and material flow.
Provide feedback to Supervisor regarding the need for fixtures and/or the quality of the equipment.
Perform first piece inspection.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1 - 3 years related experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a firm grasp of the English language with good oral
communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge to run programs on the equipment, track project hours, look up information on
internal databases and enter time off requests into payroll online system. Experience with various mechanical
design software is a plus.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk;
and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, with other employees available to assist as
needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust
focus. ESD straps/shoes required.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving
mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
