Job Title: Landscape Crew Member
We are seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to assist with high-quality residential landscape projects on a part-time basis but with potential for more hours as projects get added. This is a great opportunity for students seeking hands-on experience in both general landscaping and hardscape construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Hardscape Installation: Assist with the preparation and installation of paver walkways, patios, stone masonry, and retaining walls (including excavation, base prep, and material handling).
* Planting & Garden Care: Plant native trees, shrubs, and perennials; install mulch, loam, and turf.
* Seasonal Maintenance: Perform spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal, pruning, and debris hauling.
* Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialized outdoor power equipment (prior experience preferred).
Site Safety & Logistics: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site; load and unload trucks and trailers daily.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Ability to perform physical outdoor labor in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
* Reliable transportation to the shop or job sites.
* A respectful candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn (and teach) will be preferred over one that has many years of experience but doesn’t show up on time, isn’t respectful, or isn’t willing to learn.
This position is for part-time employment. As more work becomes available, the candidate will have the opportunity for more hours and more responsibilities.

We are seeking a Landscape Maintenance Foreman / Account Manager who will lead a field crew while also helping management manage assigned client accounts. This position is responsible for ensuring landscape maintenance services are delivered efficiently and at a high standard while maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable supervising a crew, communicating with customers and management, and identifying opportunities to improve and enhance properties.
Key Responsibilities -
Crew Leadership & Field Operations:
Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on daily service routes
Work alongside the crew to complete services such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, and seasonal cleanups
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
Inspect properties during service to ensure quality and contract compliance
Monitor equipment and report repair or replacement needs
Ensure crew truck, trailer, and equipment are kept clean and presentable.
Account Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned landscape maintenance accounts
Perform routine property walk-throughs to ensure client expectations are met
Communicate with clients regarding service updates, requests, or concerns
Identify enhancement opportunities such as mulching, pruning, plant replacements, and seasonal improvements
Report client feedback and property needs to management
Scheduling & Coordination:
Ensure assigned properties are completed on schedule
Coordinate materials and resources needed for services and enhancements
Communicate with the operations team to maintain efficient routes and workflow
Qualifications -
3+ years of landscape maintenance experience
Prior crew leader or foreman experience preferred
Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and equipment
Ability to lead a crew and maintain productivity throughout the day
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license required (w/ valid Mass DOT card)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical work
Preferred Qualifications -
Experience managing landscape maintenance accounts
Bilingual (English and Spanish/Portuguese) a plus
Horticulture or landscaping certifications are a plus
