ABCorp’s history dates back to 1795, more than 225 years. We started out as secure printers - designing & producing better, more counterfeit-resistant currency for the First Bank of the United States. Our products & services have changed, but secure envelops everything we do. Today, we design, manufacture, and personalize, contactless credit cards, 3D print highly detailed prototypes & parts, and use digital content to elevate the customer experience in a secure envelope. These are just a few of the things we do.

JOB SUMMARY: We utilize the latest generation of print manufacturing technology. You’ll be performing both hands-on and strategic work in several positions within the manufacturing discipline to help the team achieve its operational objectives. Participants will work with printing, pre-press, and silk-screening machinery. This is a great opportunity for students to learn with the potential of eventually become a subject matter expert in this technology.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required:

• Set up, operate, oversee process of various printing equipment

• Print images on PVC and other flexible materials

• Decide on appropriate inks and base materials

• Execute prints based on customer specifications using computer software

• Perform customer-requested revisions to their supplied files. Upon approval, you will impose production jobs conforming to technical specifications for printing, die-cutting, and finishing.

• Ensure the correct product is produced based on customer specifications

• Conduct and/or use research on user experience and needs, current market trends and general functionality

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education – must be enrolled as a junior or senior in a public or private high school

• Applicants must be 16 years of age at the time the appointment begins

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and priorities.

• A desire to explore a career in the print or manufacturing industry

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change.

• Driven, self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative.

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
