Job Title: Truck Detailer

GENERAL SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

• Cleaning vehicle and equipment interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards

• Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations

• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles and equipment

• Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s and equipment’s condition; notifying superior of any broken/defective parts or equipment

• Managing inventory and reordering supplies

• Work with the maintenance department to identify potential vehicle/equipment problems and to work with the shop mechanics to keep vehicles/equipment in good working order

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Valid driver’s license

• Medical DOT card

• OSHA 10 training

• Body work and painting experience a plus

• Attention to detail with excellent communication skills

• Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and stooping-bending up to 80lbs several hours a day

• Be able to stand or sit several hours a day

• Must abide by all safety policies

• Must be able to work independently.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Be able to work in extreme weather conditions

• Be able to work the snow season and weekends

Must have valid drivers license, OSHA 10 or higher (we will pay for you to get this if you don't have it already), must be able to pass a drug test and obtain a DOT medical card, MA 2A-1C hoisting license a plus!
