Course Overview
AP World History: Modern is an introductory college-level modern world history course. Students cultivate their understanding of world history from c. 1200 CE to the present through analyzing historical sources and learning to make connections and craft historical arguments as they explore concepts like humans and the environment, cultural developments and interactions, governance, economic systems, social interactions and organization, and technology and innovation.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for AP World History: Modern. Students should be able to read a college-level textbook and write grammatically correct, complete sentences.
Grading | Your AP World History teacher will review your progress on the Summer Assignment. They will ensure that you have completed all parts of the assignment. It's important to remember that if you don't finish the work, you won't receive credit for it. The completion of this summer assignment is essential for your success in this course.
