Curriculum
Please read to your child often, even if your child is reading or beginning to read. They need to hear you read, as well as read to you.
The more we read the better readers we become.
Kindergarten
We will work with the same letters and sight words the children have been working with in their ELA class. I will be about a week behind the current Kindergarten work.
We have worked with all the letter names and sounds and will continue to review these each time we meet. We continue to practice our sight words, using them to make simple sentences. We are also working on blending and reading 3 letter short vowel words (cvc words).
