The children should wear gym uniforms every Wednesday!
Please sign and return the Behavior Calendar every Monday. You can sign at the end of the week or each day.
Please make sure your child knows his/ her lunch number if they are buying from the cafeteria. I have everyone's lunch number if you need it.
The Homework Sheet is attached to the email if you want a hard copy, and you can always find the homework on my Google Site. Please check and initial your child's homework.
Library books need to be returned on Tuesday.
Study for Math Facts Monday!
Test Folders and Completed Work Folders are going to be sent home this week. Please return the tests in the folder.
First grade was asked to bring in Chapstick for the Good Saint Anne Shelter until Tuesday, December 16th.
We're going to Santa's Secret Shop on Tuesday from 9:30-10:00am. The children need to have their own shopping bag.
Our class Christmas Party will be on Wednesday, December 17th at 1:15pm. Thank you to the parents who volunteered to send in items and help with the party. The children can dress down in red and green with a donation to be given to Catholic Charities to help Ghana.
Our Christmas show will be on Thursday, December 18th at 9:30am in the church basement. We'll be singing on the same side as we sat for the Saints Parade. (The same side we sit on for Mass.) The children should dress in their Christmas best.
Pretzel money for January is due next week. (I'm not sure which day). The cost is $14.00 (cash/ check) or $14.49 (credit card).
Spreading the Joy of Reading this Christmas...
We're going to have a Book Exchange for Christmas! The children need to bring in a brand-new book by Monday, December 15th. It can be a picture book or beginning chapter book, and it doesn't need to be a Christmas book or expensive. Please wrap the book and put a tag with your child's name on it.
Math Fair:
Our annual Winter Math Fair will be held on Friday, January 9th from 8:30-11:30am. I need 5 parents to help run the stations. Ms. Kates will have 5 parents helping, too. Ms. Kates and I plan the stations, we just need help running them. Please let me know by this Friday morning at the latest if you would like to volunteer to help at the Math Fair. I need to submit the volunteer names on Friday.
