ABOUT
Subbu is an experienced research leader with domain expertise in various energy systems and thermal systems. He has extensive experience leading the development and implementation of new solutions in the energy domain with a specific focus on emerging technologies. Subbu's research in CSIRO is primarily focussed on decarbonizing the built environment sector. His research has led to the development of solar-assisted cooling system development and demonstration in commercial buildings, development of low energy cooling solutions for buildings. As part of his current research, he is evaluating ways to use advances in digital technologies to reduce buildings' carbon footprint, evaluating strategies for smart buildings to grid interaction (B2G), and concepts for net-zero energy buildings.
