September was a great month, and I have had so much fun getting to know your child! Now that it is October, we are really jumping into our curriculums, and doing a lot of learning!
Spelling tests have begun. Spelling lists will be sent home on the first day of the week (usually Mondays) and the test will be given on the last day of the week (usually Fridays). Please check your child's yellow folder for spelling lists, and please practice at home.
In math, we are beginning multiplication. Practicing our math facts at home is important. You can use flashcards, printed worksheets, or websites like Xtramath. Students know how to access Xtramath if they want to do it at home.
Conferences will be coming up in November. I'll be emailing a signup sheet for conferences in the next few weeks. I look forward to meeting with each of you and sharing your child's progress with you.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime. The best ways to contact me are through the Remind App or email me at kblakeslee@sheffieldschools.org.
