Meet the Teacher

My name is Miss Blakeslee, and I am a third grade teacher at Brookside Intermediate School.  This is my 16th year in the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City School District, and my 20th year teaching overall.

I grew up in Avon Lake, Ohio.  I received my Early Childhood Education degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and my Master's in Special Education from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Teaching is my main passion, but I also love to read and travel.  I've been to 38 states and 17 countries!
