Dear MRISA Volleyball Participants,
Welcome to the 2025 MRISA Senior Volleyball Tournament at Saigon South International School, Home of the Dragons!
We are delighted to have you join us and become part of our vibrant community for the next few days. During your time here, we hope you’ll not only enjoy the competition but also experience the warmth of our hospitality, the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City, and the rich culture of Vietnam.
MRISA tournaments are about more than the games themselves. They are opportunities for growth, connection, and discovery, where athletes strengthen their skills, build resilience, and form friendships that reach far beyond the court. This shared experience is what makes international school sports so special.
As you compete, we encourage you to embrace every moment: meet new people, support one another, explore something new, and most of all, have fun. Let this weekend remind us all of the power of sport to bring people together in the spirit of respect, teamwork, and joy.
We are honored to host you and look forward to celebrating the dedication, sportsmanship, and passion that each of you brings to the tournament.
Enjoy your time at SSIS and best of luck throughout the 2025 MRISA Volleyball Tournament!
Sincerely,
Dr. Catriona Moran

Welcome Athletes to the 2025 MRISA Senior Volleyball Tournament!
Welcome to Saigon South International School, Home of the Dragons! We’re thrilled to host you here in Ho Chi Minh City for what promises to be an incredible few days of volleyball, friendship, and fun.
This tournament is about more than just the games, it’s a celebration of growth, connection, and shared experience. Over the next three days, you’ll have countless opportunities to:
Challenge yourself – push your limits, test your skills, and play your best.
Build character – embrace teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience.
Discover yourself – reflect on what drives you and how you grow through sport.
Connect with others – form new friendships across schools and cultures.
Experience Vietnam – take in the warmth, energy, and hospitality of our community.
The "Dragon Way" emphasizes that athletics has an impact far beyond the court. Athletics demonstrate lessons about effort, empathy, and excellence. So play hard, cheer loudly, and enjoy every moment of this tournament.
We’re so glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to share this experience with you.
Welcome to SSIS, and best of luck at the 2025 MRISA Senior Volleyball Tournament!
Warm regards,

Welcome MRISA Senior Volleyball Athletes and Coaches
On behalf of everyone at SSIS, it’s my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2025 MRISA Senior Volleyball Tournament. We’re honoured to host you here in Ho Chi Minh City and to celebrate the spirit of competition, learning, and connection that makes MRISA so special.
At SSIS, we believe athletics is an extension of our classrooms, a space where character is tested, teamwork is built, and respect is lived out through every serve, set, and point. As Dragons, we talk often about The Dragon Way: to learn with purpose, to play with heart, and to lead with integrity. I hope you see those same values reflected across this tournament, from the courts to the stands.
Over the next three days, let’s compete fiercely yet fairly, support one another, and celebrate every athlete’s journey. Whether you leave with a medal, a new friendship, or a moment of pride in how you played, I hope this experience reminds you why we love this game.
Welcome to SSIS. We’re thrilled to share this weekend with you.
Lets Go!
