Saigon South International School is proud to host the 10th annual ELLSA Conference March 7-8, 2026 with a pre-conference workshop on March 6th.
The ELLSA conference is the largest gathering of English language specialists in Asia, featuring thought-provoking keynotes, practical workshops, and dynamic peer-to-peer learning.
This year's theme, Centering a Multilingual Ecology, invites us to look beneath the surface to discover and honor the rich multilingualism that exists within all our schools. Together, we’ll explore how educators and schools can create spaces where diverse languages, identities, and experiences are seen as vital and interconnected.
Saigon South International School will share one lens among many, offering a glimpse into how our community approaches this ongoing journey. The strands for this year are:

Through an integrated school audit process, participants will explore how different strands of language—English as an additional language, host country language, world languages, and home languages—interconnect and contribute to a linguistically inclusive school culture.
Grounded in research and best practices, this workshop empowers schools to align their language approaches with broader DEIJ goals, and culminates in the creation of a personalized school development plan. See the full workshop description below for more information.
