English Requirement

The book I read was Why Gender Matters by Leonard Sax. This book provided an insight the the medical affects of a classroom that is not set to the pace of a still developing brain. This book explained some difference in the male and female brains and gave the scientific information for that research. This provided me with a deeper understanding of the function and structure of the brain.

Virginia Benhard and I had a conversation about what our books were about, how they relate to our topic, and what we found interesting. We also found a connection between our books on how teachers should be equipped to best teach all students.
