Fundraising Purposes
SSFUSD AVID aims to provide college/career readiness experiences and resources to all AVID students regardless of their financial situations. This is made possible by student fundraising efforts and community support. We appreciate your help in spreading the word about these fundraising opportunities.
Uses for funds may include but are not limited to the following purposes: college field trips, supplies, orientation/team building activities, PSAT/AP Exam fees, AVID Banquet, etc. (uses may vary by school)

These opportunities are available all year round and may include activities that you are already engaging in.
Note: Some of these opportunities will provide funds for each school as whole or may allow you to specify the school's AVID program or individual teachers.

Some employers match the charitable donations of their employees through portals such as Benevity Causes. In the Comment/Note section of your donation, specify that you would like your donation to be designated for the AVID program.

Recycle typically unrecyclable items (such as toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, sauce packets, pens, markers, etc) and earn points which can then be converted into financial donations to a school or charity of your choice.

We are a unifying organization working to bring together dedicated volunteers, community partners, businesses and donors committed to educational equity, access, and excellence in all SSFUSD schools. We aim to involve all parts of the SSFUSD community, including students, families, and educators, in identifying critical student needs and deciding what approaches to fund to support students' long-term success.
