Tiger Tots
Registration for the 2024-25 Tiger Tots school year has begun!

Tiger Tots is an extension of the Tiger Time program where we offer an engaging and enrichment filled childcare setting that is available to families of the Stewartville School District. We provide children with a mix of student lead, play based, and leader directed lessons and activities throughout the day. We infuse movement throughout the day with music, gym and other indoor and outdoor activities. Our caring Tiger Tots (Time) staff create a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
→ Program Information
The Tiger Tots program is located in the Central Education Center, and is open from 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Our first day of the Tiger Tots 2023 school year will be Thursday, September 7th, 2023. Children must be age 5 by September 1st, 2024 to be eligible for the Tiger Tots programs.
Full Time Tiger Tots - designed for families seeking full day childcare. Children will be in the care of qualified and experienced Tiger Tots(Time) staff throughout the entirety of their day.
Wrap Around Tiger Tots - designated for families who have children enrolled in an applicable School Readiness Preschool class and are seeking child care before/after preschool as well as non-preschool days. We have a limited number of enrollment spots available for each of the below listed School Readiness classes. Tiger Tots bills separately from School Readiness.
→ Eligibility
Children are eligible to attend the Tiger Tots program the school year prior to entering Kindergarten. They must be 5 years old by September 1st of 2025 to attend Tiger Tots 2024-2025.
→ Pricing and Billing Contracts
Each Tiger Tot program, Full Time and Wrap Around, has a set billing contract. For each billing period, payment is due within two weeks of the invoice. Please see Payment Responsibilities in the Tiger Time Handbook for more information. The following contracts will be used each week for billing purposes, regardless of a child's attendance.

6:30-7:30 - Arrival
7:30-8:30 - Morning Snack/Breakfast
8:00-9:30 - Circle Activities (calendar, weather, number/letter discussion, the day's schedule) & Movement Activities
9:30-10:30 - Center Play & Small Group Work
10:30-11:00 - Circle Activities (Leader reads a story or has a class discussion. Discussions are focused on themes or topics of the week.)
11:00-11:30 - Lunch
11:30-12:30 - Movement (gym, outside play, classroom movement activities)
12:30-1:00 - Center Play
1:00-2:00 - Rest Time
2:00-2:30 - Quiet Activities/Day Wrap-Up
2:30-3:00 - Afternoon Snack
3:00-4:00 - Movement (gym, outside play, classroom movement activities)
4:00-5:30 - Center Play or Leader Directed Stations
→ Application Process
The enrollment period has begun for the 2024-25 school year. Spots are filled on a first come first served basis while prioritizing School Readiness selection for Wrap Around Tiger Tots. *Submitting a registration form does not guarantee placement in the program. A waitlist will be started as soon as capacity is reached in each program. If children are accepted into the program, a $60.00 registration fee will apply.
