special areas spotlights

New this school year, students will be recognized for their hard work and dedication in each of our core special area classes.  Congratulations to our Special Area Spotlights!

Love Strickland - Art

Ms. Bergen writes: "I can count on Love to be kind, caring, and hard work each and every day she steps into the art room. She patiently waits for instruction and quietly helps her friends stay on task. Recently our class took on a large group project. I watched Love work with her friends, often giving them grace as they moved into her space and used her materials. She waited until all of her peers placed their art out for show, before taking her turn. Love, thank you for being a supportive friend and ensuring everyone is included. We love having a generous friend like you in art."

Congratulations Love!

Bridget Golden - Music

Mr. Trycieckyj writes: "Bridget is an asset to second grade music! Bridget is honest, she does her best work and encourages her classmates to also do their best. I can rely on Bridget to follow our music class directions, practice instruments and songs to the best of her ability and she gives a strong effort each time she enters the music room. During group activities and performances, I can depend on Bridget to be a determined and consistent role model for her classmates."

Congratulations Bridget!

Lexy Foster - Gym

Mr. Lupoli writes: "Lexy is very enthusiastic and hard working in Phys. Ed. class. A very good athlete who plays to win but is always a good sport and good example for others. I will often use Lexy to demonstrate proper skills. Look for Lexy to be a star soccer player in the future."

Congratulations Lexy!
