MathCounts club is back for the school year! MathCounts is a national program that allows students in grades 6-8 through use their math skills to solve problems and compete in monthly contests. Students will also have the option train for a local competition held in the spring.
Meetings will be held every Thursday from 2:50 - 3:30 pm in room 113 with Mrs. Yarusso.

NJHS is a leadership/community service organization that leads events in the school and participates in service activities. The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science is a club for 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in competing in a state wide science fair. Students who are interested in science follow the steps of the scientific method to design, conduct, and present their own experiments to a panel of judges at the Regional Meet (held at ETR). Students who earn a first award qualify for the State Meet (held at Penn State). This club holds a field trip every year to Penn State for three days and 2 nights.
PJAS meets every Thursday after school in room 135 until 3:30pm.
Our first meeting will be held Thursday, October 16.

Come join us and help bring this year’s Springfield Script to life!
Students will be building, crafting, and painting set and prop pieces for the school musical. Set builds are Sundays from 10:00-12:30 beginning December 21. They will also learn how to work sound and lights during the final rehearsals, the show, and for additional musical concerts and school events. Stage crew meets at various times, but students are welcome to participate when they are available.
