Data collection tools

A-b-c data collection

What: Measurement tool to determine the function (e.g. “why”) the behavior is occurring.

When: When function is not determined and may be used in conjunction with interviews and other checklists for the FBA process.

ABC Data is never used as a tool to track data over time.
