Classroom Expectations

Consequences:

1.Verbal warning- the first time a behavior happens, the child will get a verbal reminder/warning.

2.Take a break- If the behavior continues, the child will be asked to move to a different area in the room to take a break (we all get overwhelmed sometimes)

3.Loss of a privilege- If the behavior continues after steps one and two, the child will lose a privilege such as some free time on the computer or time at recess.

4.Parent contact- After steps 1-3, if the behavior still continues, a note/email will go home to the parents (more severe behaviors will require a phone call home).

5.Office referral- If the behavior becomes continual or unsafe, the child will be referred to the office.
