*Social/Emotional: Middle school is a season of big transitions and rapid changes. Adjusting to a different school, making new friends, and finding a place to fit in can feel overwhelming at times. We are here to help students chart this new course. Whether your student is facing challenges at school, at home, or within themselves, we provide a safe, supportive space for them to process and grow.
*Academic: Since the expectations in middle school are higher, the School Counselors help build confidence in students by helping them with time management skills and organizational skills. They partner with teachers, students and parents for support in this. It is important that parents monitor their student's academic progress and maintain open communication with teachers and School Counselors.
*High School/College/Career: It’s never too early for students to begin thinking about where their interests might take them. Understanding life after high school helps students see the direct connection between their current effort and their future opportunities. Our counselors work closely with middle schoolers to ensure a smooth transition to high school—equipping them with the tools, mindsets, and course-planning skills needed to turn their long-term goals into reality.
