A note from Ben M:

I humbly suggest that we agree to keep this current standard (pic below) that has the one digit period number first. This will make it easier for our students to quickly recognize the period of the class when accessing the TO DO list. Previously, the nomenclature was a two digit number and the circles all had zeros in them and it was difficult to discern the difference - especially on mobile.

How do I make a class roster?

Go into IC > reports > blank spreadsheet

How do I send a mass email to parents?

Do it in IC!

Do it in GC

Go to GC>people tab>click top box under "students" to click all or click individual kids > Actions > email

How do I post a message to multiple sections/classes?

Go to GC Stream>click in top box>type your announcement >click triangle next to your class section and a drop down menu will open>click all classes that should receive this announcement

How do I assign work to multiple sections/classes?

Go to classwork tab > create an assignment > on the right, click arrow next to class section and a drop down menu will open>click all classes that should receive this assignment.

(but you can't mass assign if you are passing out copies of something to each kid. AND your due dates might be wonky due to block schedule)
