This will be my first year starting at Alamo in person. I am a Alamo School Alumni and feel like I am where I should be coaching and teaching. Currently I am the assistant JV boys basketball coach at Cal High and the coach of an AAU team. I have been teaching tennis since I was 14 and still play in adult leagues. I love to spend time with my family, going out on our boat, getting dinner together, or going on vacations. I have three dogs named Alvin, Pintu, and Ruby who I spend a lot of time with. Before teaching P.E. I was in the family business not enjoying my profession and decided to become a teacher and do what I love to do and that is coaching and teaching young students. I consider myself a lifelong learner and am always looking for new ideas, lessons, activities, and ways to become a better coach and teacher. I am beyond excited to be back at Alamo teaching the subject that I enjoyed the most while attending!
The goal of P.E. this year is to teach students how to move and control their bodies while having fun. I have always been a firm believer that exercise and living a healthy lifestyle will help students greatly both in and out of the classroom. In P.E. we will be learning how to control our bodies, how to work with others, and how to turn confrontations in to conversations. Each quarter I will be posting a overview of the skills and activities that students will be participating in and posting it to this front page. Our lessons will be planned around the standards for each grade level.
