I am so excited for this school year! Second grade is a wonderful year for students...they are all a little more "grown-up", with fun stories and experiences to share. Second graders are eager learners - they are curious and open-minded. My teaching philosophy is to give every child a positive and nurturing environment in which they will feel safe to be themselves, take risks, and have fun through the learning process. We all have gifts, and these gifts come in many different forms. I believe that all children can be successful.
