A little about me....

This will be my 13th year teaching at Live Oak, and I am thrilled to be a part of a stellar community of staff, students, and families.  I am passionate about learning, and about teaching. Children inspire me! My goal is to foster curiosity, creativity, and the love of learning with children, while supporting their skills to become independent thinkers.

My 3 children, Philip (30), Alexander (29), and Katrina (24), have a big influence on me. Raising them has guided my philosophies about teaching. Your children will be hearing many stories about my kids, and also about my dog, Bear!

This is my dog, Bear. She and I spend many hours on trails together.

I LOVE the outdoors! My family and I take advantage of the gorgeous mountains and scenery in California and spend time backpacking in the Sierras.

I was born in Quebec, Canada, and moved to the Bay Area in 1997.
