Dance Director and Teacher at Monte Vista High School, Ryane Siegel was raised in San Ramon, California. Ryane grew up training at local studios including San Ramon Valley Dance Academy, The Next Step Dance Studio, and competing on the elite Jazz West Teams. Her studio experience prepared her to choreograph and lead her high school dance teams to winning many awards on the competitive dance circuit, where she was recruited at the age of 16 to teach for UDA. College bound, Ryane went on to lead and direct the dance team and company program at Chico State, where she helped to develop a Dance Minor in the College of Theatre Arts. Graduating with a Bachelor of Communications in Graphic Design, and a minor in Dance, Ryane enjoyed dancing and choreographing professionally throughout her high school and college careers.

Post graduation, Ryane moved back to the bay area to start a family and work towards earning her teaching credential. While continuing her pursuit for higher education, Ryane found The Bar Method, and became trained and certified to teach Barre classes in the San Ramon and Walnut Creek areas. This intensive training process gave Ryane a valuable foundation for strength conditioning, injury prevention, and rehabilitation that translated perfectly for her dancers.

In 2006, Ryane started teaching dance at California High School and created a comprehensive multi-level dance program, offering UC approved classes. In 2020, Ryane was selected to teach at Monte Vista High School and joined the Mustang Family. Her mission and hope is that all of her dancers will have the opportunity to learn and grow in their love of dance, while also gaining real life experience including leadership, management, problem solving, communication and organizational skills. Ryane aims to enhance the MVHS Dance program, so that all of her students will have the opportunity to explore, create, teach, and perform while making lifelong friends.
