A quiet, calm place to take a short mental health break
Come to unwind and manage tough emotions with our fidget toys and relaxation activities
No food or devices (cell phones and Chromebooks) allowed
It is not a place to socialize/play with friends. It is not a substitute for the Library. This is a mindful, safe space.
In the Counseling Office - the space between Mrs. Laake's Office and Mrs. LaBrie's Office
Ms. Noelle is there from about 10am-2pm
9:30am-1:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
10:30am-2:30pm Wednesdays and Thursdays
You can visit during Break without a Wellness Pass
You need a laminated Wellness Pass from yard duty to enter during Lunch (subject to availability)
If you need to come during class time, please ask for a Wellness Pass from your teacher (or have them email Ms. Noelle). See procedures below.
Closed during Student Support Time/Tutorial
Be sure to sign-in and sign-out when you visit (on the iPad located near Ms. Noelle's desk)
If you visit during class time, a sand timer will let you know when it is time to return to class (5-15 minutes)
Remember to be mindful of your volume and language while in the space!
Browse our bookshelf or bring one of your own (no devices)!
Color, draw, journal, work on a puzzle, or build with Legos!
Use our fidget toys, Buddha board or sand tray!
