Middle school students are faced with challenges each & every day. Whether these challenges come from home, school, friends, or other environmental factors, stress can be overwhelming. Stress is an uncomfortable feeling someone develops when they're scared, angry, worried, or frustrated, which affects their mood & body in many different ways. It's not uncommon for students to experience stressors such as homework load, a busy schedule, peer pressure, test anxiety, grades, image concerns, lack of support & changes in routine. The Virtual Wellness Center was created to help students manage their stressors & develop healthy coping strategies at any time of the day. All the resources available are evidence-based, researched, & age appropriate.
