Google Classroom Step 1
This session will be an introduction to Google Classroom. We will be covering topics like how to create a class, how to name it, and setting up your notifications. We will also give suggestions on how to organize your classroom for success, and types of uploads.

Google Classroom Step 2
In Step 2 of Google Classroom we will be going over some helpful tips and tricks for success. Some topics include scheduling Posts & Assignments, Differentiating Assignments, Organization Tips, Creating Rubrics and Exporting Grades to Genesis.

Google Slides
This session will cover how to make your Google Slides interactive for students. This includes making a drag-and-drop activity and a fill-in-the-blank worksheet. We will also go over how to insert links and videos into your Google Slides activity.

Google Forms
A quick overview of how to create a Form for assessment or assignment purposes and uploading to your Google Classroom. Different features and settings will be identified and some ways in which Forms can be used. You will also be shown how to import grades into your Google classroom from the Form.

This session will cover the creation of teacher websites using GoogleSites program. Teacher websites will be an additional resource for students and their parents throughout the next school year while some students are at home.

In this session you will learn how to use your favorite videos from YouTube or upload your own videos to build an interactive and dynamic lesson for your students while getting analytic feedback to monitor their understanding.

Creating Videos Using Epson document viewer, cell phone, Loom, Youtube and xp-pen tablet
A quick overview of how to record lessons using the above tools, editing your video and uploading to Youtube or directly to your google classroom. There are many different ways to record a lesson and this will give an overview of several methods so you will be able to choose what works best for you on any given day.

Screen Recording & Sharing Videos
Turn your daily school lessons into virtual lessons using screencasting. In this PD session we will learn how to use two tools to screencast lessons and then upload them to google classroom. Learning tools covered: Loom (new district tool) and Screencastify.

In this session, you will learn how to create an online assignment/assessment using the website Edulastic.
The session will cover how to create your own questions as well as use the question/test bank to create an assignment. There are over 30 question types, including multiple choice, multiple select, drag and drop, fill in the blank, graphing and more! Edulastic also syncs with Google Classroom!

Kahoot is a fun educational game that will engage students in your classroom or from their kitchen table at home. It encompasses all content areas, is easy to implement, and syncs with Google Classroom. Come check it out and bring 5-10 questions that you would use for a quiz, so you can create your very own Kahoot!

Remind is a mobile messaging platform that allows teachers, parents, students, and administrators in schools to communicate with large groups all at once or with individuals one on one without sharing any personal phone numbers. In this session, you will learn how to sign up your students quickly and easily customize your sign up link, schedule announcements ahead of time, attach photos and other files, and send individual or group texts.
