This session will act not only as a refresher but also take that next step and review some helpful tricks, tools, and time savers for both teachers and students. We will explore the Parent/Guardian feature, organization tips, reusing posts, scheduling posts, the Classroom folder in Google Drive, and much more! There will also be time for individual questions and problem solving.

This session will provide you with an overview of Google Slides and how to make your Google slides interactive for students. This includes the basics such as inserting text boxes, backgrounds, links and videos and how to create moveable pieces. We will also go over how to provide feedback to students within their Google slides assignment.

This workshop will provide a quick overview of how to record lessons using the above tools, upload to Youtube or Loom, edit your video and add the link to your Google Classroom. There are many different ways to record a lesson and this will give an overview of several methods so you will be able to choose what works best for you on any given day.

Testmoz is a simple, but powerful test generator. It contains all the features you need to conduct your next assessment online using multiple choice, true/false, matching, or open-ended questions. Find out how to easily manage your questions by dragging and dropping questions to reorder them, insert a new question or copy an existing one. You can upload images, embed videos, and use math symbols.

Kahoot is a fun educational game that will engage students in your classroom or from their kitchen table at home. It encompasses all content areas, is easy to implement, and syncs with Google Classroom. Come check it out and bring 5-10 questions that you would use for a quiz, so you can create your very own Kahoot!
