On Thursday October 26th, members and mentors from the robotics team help run four different rooms for the annual haunted high school event. Robotics was a part of the corn maze, drone flying, Halloween safety, and the star lab. This event is an opportunity for community members to have a safe Halloween trick or treating experience. Our members showed students how to fly drones that were dressed as bats around the room and through hoops. In the star lab, students led a presentation on constellations and coloring activities of constellations. The corn maze had stem facts throughout the maze and when the kids finished the maze, they received as many pieces of candy as stem facts that they named. Lastly, Halloween safety was a finger painting activity and a discussion about being safe while trick or treating. Overall, this was an amazing event for the community and we are glad to help out every year!
