On Sunday November 19th members and mentors from the robotics team went to the South River Community Garden to help them. During our time there we cleared plots that were overgrown, removed dead brush from cluttered areas and removed the compost pile. Our goal for our next visit there is to rebuild the compost pile out of cinderblocks so it does not rot like this one did. We are also looking to install the rain collection system that they received via donations. This way the community can water their plots during the hot summer months.
