We strive to help our environment by reducing the amount of palm oil used in everyday products, through correcting consumer habits. By doing so, we are helping to significantly decrease the amount of deforestation that occurs in order to produce palm oil in developing countries. Through the use of recyclable packaging, we are also promoting the movement away from single use plastics.

The issue that our business is addressing stems from consumer based habits. For this reason, our equity aspect of our business is to increase the knowledge around deforestation and the use of palm oil in everyday products. Through the use of our name, Labios Pacífico, we are reaching out towards Hispanic communities to connect with Spanish speaking students at TL and beyond.

When we first started our brand, one of the first things we noticed was the high price point of other sustainable lip balm products. With this information, we strived to keep our price point low, allowing for a more diverse customer base to access our products.
