Do I have to be in ArtQuest in order to take band or orchestra at SRHS?
A: No, you do not have to be in ArtQuest to take band or orchestra at SRHS, and students can enroll in our elective Fine Arts music classes.
What is the difference between ArtQuest Instrumental Music and FineArts Instrumental music?
A: Right now the ArtQuest and Fine Arts instrumental aensembles are the same. Being in ArtQuest will give stduents access to our ArtQuest english classes. We are also working to expand our ArtQuest mucic classes to give students and more in depth musical experience.
Do I have to have musical experience to join an Instrumental Ensemble?
A: No, you do not have to have pervious musical eperience to join an ensemble, although it is preferred that students have experience playing at the middles school level. All students without prvious ecperiernce will be evaluated on an individual basis, and students without experience should reach out to the teacher for guidance regarding which ensemble would be right for them.
