READING OLYMPICS

READING OLYMPICS

What is Reading Olympics? - Reading Olympics is a year-long celebration of reading and a competition which provides an opportunity for students in grades 4-8 to read and discuss literature from many genres. Each team is composed of 12-15 students and is responsible for reading from a list of predetermined books. In the spring, our students will compete as a team against other teams. On the night of the competition, teams will be asked comprehension based questions about the books. Students in Grades 4-8 will have the opportunity to participate in Reading Olympics.  There is not a Reading Olympics Summer Assignment.  However, if you would like to get started, the book list is below.
