Mathematics

Using the navigation on the left side of your screen, you will find the summer packets for each of our Accelerated (+) or Advanced Placement mathematics courses. Our department is continuing to push for more students to find success in mathematics courses. To help students prepare for the upcoming school year, we have prepared these summer review packets that should be completed by the start of school in August. Each packet is a review of the prerequisite skills and topics that will be important for students going into their next course.

Students enrolled in Accelerated (+)/ Advanced Placement courses should complete their work on their own notebook paper, neatly, and show all necessary work for each problem. Students will be turning in their complete work for the packets on the first day of school. The first test will be within the first week of classes. Please come to class ready to begin your new course immediately.

Students enrolled in non-accelerated/AP classes should review the topics found on their corresponding course summer packet, but they are not required to turn in the summer packet.

For more information, your mathematics teacher and/or counselor can be of assistance towards the beginning of the school year. Additionally, on the left side of this page is a link titled "Math Help Links". Students are strongly encouraged to use these resources for help if necessary. During the summer, you may email Mr. McGough at amcgough@spusd.net for assistance.
