Outside of School
I am a Mom to my amazing daughter Julia. She is a Sophmore at SPHS. I am married to an amazing man. He is a pediatric Physical Therapist.
When I am at home I love to garden and bake. I have about a dozen rose bushes that I take care of, once they bloom in the spring, my desk and many others around school will have flowers from my yard. We also have awesome orange and tangerine trees, ask Ms. Schindler! The last things that we grow are a variety of vegetables; anything from long beans, to pumpkin, to cantaloupe.
Baking is my other joy. I enjoy making varieties of cookies and breads/muffins. I love to make zucchini bread with fresh zucchini from the garden!
LA County Science Fair
Outside of SPMS I am involved with the LA County Science & Engineering Fair. I am in charge of recruiting and “training” the 250 judges and 1,000+ students for the judging process.
